Make 9-11 Truth the first Article of Impeachment, say Vermont Greens

On April 23, 2006, the Vermont Green Party became the first Political Party in the nation to make 9-11 Truth the key to the impeachment of Bush and Cheney.

In a victory for the Vermont 9/11 Truth Movement, and for the cause of peace and justice, on April 23rd, 2006 it was resolved:

"The Vermont Green Party affirms its 2003 resolution that President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard Cheney should be impeached. The President continues to commit crimes against Peace and humanity, assuming the powers of an imperial president unaccountable to law and usurping powers of the Congress, judiciary, and those reserved to the People of the United States, and violating the civil rights of U.S. Citizens and those of other nations. Further, revealing Bush Administration complicity in the terrorist attacks of 9-11 and the massive nationwide election fraud of 2004 are to be put in the forefront of an overall drive for impeachment. Since 2003 the situation has greatly worsened with almost 2400 dead, more than 100,000 Iraqis killed, and untold numbers from other countries injured and maimed in an illegal war. At this time we call on the Vermont Legislature to begin the impeachment process."

We say to the people of the United States, we do not have until November, as the Democratic Party would like us to believe, to stop Bush and Cheney. That strategy did not work with Kerry. We do not have until November as plans to nuke Iran could be implemented at any moment. Such madness must be stopped now. By forcing Congress to take up impeachment, we have the chance save not only our country and the world from economic, social and environmental disaster, but the outbreak of World War III. We can not wait for an October Surprise or another Reichstag Fire/Gulf of Tonkin provocation, which 9-11 was, to act.

The Vermont Green Party is not afraid to assert that 9-11 Truth has not been told, for the events of that day could only have been carried out by forces in and around our own government. It is the responsibility of every elected official, from State Representative to U.S. Senator, to uphold their oaths to the United States Constitution. In not confronting the crimes of 9-11, a violation of that Oath and thus, the highest treason, is being tolerated, for we assert that 9-11 was an inside job, purposely created to institute a new foreign and domestic policy through a coup, through the endless threat of terror, that is the new world order.

We, the Vermont Green Party, are initiating a grassroots movement by bringing 9-11 Truth into the forefront, wherein the people awaken from the trance of the major political parties' and the mainstream media's lies, to save our Republic and the planet from endless war and a new dark age.
